Once you become a parent, the old saying “the days are long but the years are short” rings true. And, if you’ve ever caught yourself wishing you could capture the moment, and save it for your kids to see sometime down the road, you’re not alone. What if there was a way to save those moments, and make sure your kids got to see them (accompanied by a note from you) years from now? Well, we discovered a way to do it and just had to share. Click here to find out more.
What It Is
Mom of three Felice Bernard was faced with the questions that most parents in this modern age face: What do you do with all those digital images, and will your kids ever get to hear the stories behind them? So she created TimeSpring because she not only wanted to save those special moments but to create a way for her kids to experience them too.
This apps works like other photo sharing apps, but with a twist: You can write, and schedule messages and images to be delivered to someone up to 30 years in advance. Bernard says, “TimeSpring was created so that parents and grandparents could send a picture or video, write a note, today and send it forward, providing the security of documenting that moment, while also allowing for the freedom to forget.”
How It Works
You simply download the free app, and invite others to your TimeSpring wheel, or open an account for someone who is too young to have an email. You can share with multiple people, and TimeSpring allows for family members to receive posthumous messages.
The TimeSpring mobile app is available for iOS and Android. Photo messaging is free, you can opt to pay $.99 for each video, or pays $29.99 for free video and photo messaging for a year.
